Last month at the New York International Auto Show, Hyundai gave us the first look at the Hyundai Palisade's midcycle update for the 2023 model year. Set to roll into dealerships this summer, Hyundai's flagship SUV sports an updated aesthetic, with more squared-off shoulders, new headlamps and DRLs, and new multi-spoke alloy wheel designs. The exterior also exhibits a striking new faceted grille that incorporates cues from recently refreshed siblings, Tucson and Santa Fe.

Interior Refinements

On the inside, the 2023 Palisade features a new steering wheel and seating materials, slimmed air vents, plus an innovative Ergo-motion massing driver's seat designed to enhance comfort and mitigate driving fatigue during long road trips or tedious commutes. There are also a few Hyundai-first seating updates, including available ventilated second-row seats, heated third-row seats, and a second-row armrest angle adjuster.

Upgraded Tech

A flagship SUV deserves flagship tech, and the 2023 Hyundai Palisade doesn't disappoint. Palisade adds to its already considerable arsenal of technology with a new instrument panel, a higher-resolution 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, faster USB-C and wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot (Hyundai first), and a digital full-display rearview camera mirror (Hyundai First). The 2023 Palisade also introduces Digital Key 2 Touch, allowing drivers to leave their car key at home and use their iPhone, Apple Watch, or Samsung Galaxy smartphone to unlock and start the vehicle.

The 2023 Palisade adds even more technologies to its extensive roster of driver-assist features, including Highway Driving Assist and Hyundai's innovative Remote Smart Parking Assist.

Rugged Style

Following in the footsteps of its Tucson and Santa Fe siblings, the 2023 Palisade gets a new XRT trim level, adding a more rugged aesthetic to the typically highly refined SUV. The dark-themed variant adds XRT-specific 20-inch wheels, distinctive fascia and door trim, skid plate elements, and black roof rails.
